After 22 years of dedicated service to Rensselaer and the CATS, the CATS Program Director in Industrial Automation, Ray Puffer, has decided that the time has come for him to play more golf, spend time on woodworking, and pursue his many other interests, and so he will retire on June 15.

Ray has anchored our industrial automation and manufacturing research program.  He has led our fuel cell manufacturing program to become the leading program in this field.

We are sad to see Ray go but happy for Ray to start the next exciting chapter of his life.
